COVERED IN CARAMEL

The collection of caramel shoes from Holts is brilliant because of its versatility, I know you’re thinking that it won’t go with anything you own but the truth is quite the opposite. So here is the lowdown on how to look amazing in this sophisticated and demure colour.

The theory that caramel doesn’t go with black is utter nonsense, wearing a little caramel with a black office outfit will make your blacks appear darker and sharper,  so a simple clutch or patent shoe is perfect.

Caramel should always be worn with neutral tones… this is also not true.  The deeper colour items you have in your wardrobe will look great with caramel as long as they are of a similar saturation the caramel will bring out the colour in the clothing.  For example if you wear navy with caramel the navy will look bluer.

Wearing caramel shoes makes your legs look shorter! Again this is false. The truth about visually elongating your legs can only be done by wearing a pair of nude pointed toe shoes; these have to match your skin tone perfectly. Keep this perfect match in mind when picking your nude colour as the tights you are going to wear when wearing the nude shoes will affect the colour match.  Caramel shoes have very little effect on the visual length of your legs but if you are looking to wear caramel shoes and elongate your silhouette wear narrow fitting trousers that stop just above your ankle this will add visible length in your lower leg.

You can wear denim and caramel in fact I encourage you to. The caramel and blue combination is refined and can take you from day to evening. During the day wear pastels and floral and for the night add some statement jewellery, this makes the caramel accessories very versatile.

White and Caramel is another classic combination that looks fantastically summery.

Wearing caramel accessories will add elegance and sophistication to a huge range of outfits, the only things I would not wear caramel with is orange but there are contradictions to this rule too.

To summarise the Caramel colour is versatile strong and complementary, it is a great colour to have available in your wardrobe and you will find it makes your trusted outfits even better.

History of Peter Kaiser

To this day, Peter Kaiser has enjoyed success for nearly two hundred years, following its establishment in 1838. As Europe’s oldest known shoe manufacturer, the company was founded in Pirmasens, Germany by entrepreneur Peter Kaiser. After just five years within the shoe manufacturing industry, Kaiser began exporting shoes over Europe and worldwide; thus enabling the company to obtain the status of being one of the first ever shoe manufacturers to achieve an international status.

From day one, the Peter Kaiser brand has prided itself on not only providing customers with creative and innovative new ideas but ensuring these are carried out with precise craftsmanship, in order to continue delivering their customers with footwear of the highest of qualities. A clear sign that the shoes aren’t simply mass produced wherever possible is the continued production of the majority of their shoes in Germany. What’s more, their factory is still located in Pirmasens, where the initial factory was founded, enabling Peter Kaiser to remain true to its roots. Around 750 employees are producing a million pairs of exceptional shoes, with 60% of these shoes being exported worldwide.

To ensure that their footwear is of the highest quality, all of the materials used within their footwear are carefully selected, to guarantee that no blemishes or other marks are apparent on the surface of the leather uppers. All of the leather is subjected to tests to assure it is both wear and pollution durable. Additionally, all other materials used within the production of the shoes are thoroughly tested for the same wearable features. The core of the leather is carefully used for parts of the shoe that will be subjected to the most wear and tear; e.g. the lining.

Once a last has been created, a sample shoe will be formed and tested to ensure it supports and contours correctly to the foot for exceptional comfort. Thus, if any changes are needed, these will be made before the shoes go into the final production stages.

The time and care that is dedicated within Peter Kaiser production, allows them to produce shoes that are not only of the highest quality, but offer the wearer a shoe of exceptional comfort and style. Specialising in ladies shoes, Peter Kaiser have shoes for any occasion, from stylish casual pumps to elegant patent ankle boots. However, they have also extended their range to men, including both boots and shoes which continue the quality seen within the ladies selection.
